On March 3rd, it is World Wildlife Day, a day to celebrate and raise awareness of the world’s wild animals and plants. World Wildlife Day in 2021 is celebrated looking at the theme of ‘Forests and Livelihoods: Sustaining People and Planet’ as a way to highlight the central role that forests, forest species and ecosystems service in sustaining the livelihoods of hundreds of millions of people globally. We have several resources you can use on Purple Mash on World Wildlife Day to support the theme.

World Cancer Day - Guest Blog

Jen and Nic launched The Little C Club after their cancer diagnosis. After meeting, both women designed and created a set of flash cards to help their own children gain an understanding of their individual diagnosis' but also help many other families break down those barriers and open up the conversation about cancer.

Chinese New Year with Purple Mash

Chinese New Year, also referred to as the Lunar New Year, is the Chinese Festival celebrating the new year on the traditional Chinese/Gregorian calendar. It’s a major holiday in Greater China and is celebrated in several countries. Here at 2Simple, we celebrate Chinese New Year using Purple Mash, with a huge variety of resources and activities you can use to ensure your pupils learn about the importance of this festival for many cultures across the world. This year it falls on 12th February and is the year of the Ox.
