International Dance Day (or World Dance Day) is celebrated every year on 29th April to promote Art and Culture and to raise awareness among the public regarding the art of dance. The day was founded in 1982 by the Dance Committee of The International Theatre Institute (ITI), the performing arts partner of Unesco. It falls each year on the birthday of Jean-Georges Noverre, the founder of modern ballet who died in 1810.

Dot Com Digital is our latest wellbeing resource, which gives children the skills to manage their own mental health and safety. Aimed at children aged 5-11, it includes over 24 themes, which enables schools to deliver a rich PHSE curriculum whilst fulfilling the requirements of the 2020 RSE framework. With 170 lessons it provides schools with a complete solution for teaching PHSE including an overview, videos, lesson plans and online and paper-based activities all hosted in a secure online platform.

Ramadan is the most sacred month of the year for Muslims and celebrated during the 9th month of their calendar. Ramadan doesn’t follow the western calendar and instead follows the Lunar calendar meaning the month can change each year. This year the celebration starts on Monday 12th April.
