Digital Leaders resources and termly challenges

Sept. 21, 2021

The Purple Mash Digital Leaders Scheme gives children with a passion for technology the opportunity to share their knowledge with others and promote the use of all things digital throughout your school. Joining the scheme and becoming a Digital Leader is a fantastic opportunity to take on responsibility, learn new skills, develop and demonstrate leadership skills and be a real help for busy teachers.

Our Digital Leader scheme is completely free for Purple Mash subscribers and all the resources you need are available in the teacher area within Purple Mash.

The resource includes:

  • Guide to setting up Digital leaders and how to get started
  • Hints and tips
  • Application form
  • Posters
  • Name cards
  • Ideas of what Digital leaders can do
  • Termly challenges

The challenges

A group of primary school Purple Mash Digital Leaders by 2Simple Ltd

Digital Leaders are easy to set up and all the tools to enable you to do this are included in Purple Mash. We also set two challenges each half term for Digital Leaders to try. These challenges focus on specific tools and applications within Purple Mash and are brilliant for Digital Leaders to have a go at and then share their understanding and knowledge with others within your school. We would also love to see what your Digital Leaders get up to and if you share work using # #PMDLChallenge on our Twitter of Facebook page or email them to us community@2Simple.com for a chance to win a set of Digital Leaders t-shirts and a 2Simple goody bag.

For teachers setting up Digital Leaders we will be sending a Digital Leader newsletter out each half term with an update to the challenges, competitions and ways that Digital leaders can support within the school. To receive these make sure you sign up to our Digital Leader Scheme.

We look forward to seeing the completed challenges and the creativity within the Digital Leader community. As well as sharing on the blog, you can also share your work and what you get up to on our Twitter or Facebook pages.
